Design idea: mixing chairs

Do you like mixing things up a bit? I love the look of mixed chairs and stools. Its a welcome relief from all that conformity you usually find in design magazines and blogs. I think mixing it up works best with retro and mid-century chairs of similar proportions around a rustic old timber table. What do you think of this idea? Mix or no mix?
