Sustainable Aussie-made furniture

By Kim McFayden 4 years ago

There’s not much that gives me more of a thrill than to get behind beautiful Aussie made sustainable products. Isn’t this Nomi furniture line divine? And would look awesome in any of our Designhunter homes featured here on the blog. Made from solid oak and hand-crafted in Melbourne, the pieces are flat packed for shipping (free shipping to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Adelaide) and feature ‘no-tools’ assembly based on a Japanese ‘peg, lock and wedge’ method of joinery. Simple and clean lines form the basis of the design with the solid oak sourced from ethically harvested forests. The flat-packed shipping also reduces bulk to minimize transport emissions.
