This house in Mosman has such a striking street presence, it's dramatic dark timber slatting contrasting against pure white walls and stonework. Designed by Luigi Rosselli Architects, the house has an elevated northerly location and therefore benefits from cooling north easterly breezes and good solar access. The house has been designed sustainably to keep cool in summer without the need for air-conditioning, using shutter-controlled natural lighting and ventilation. Another sustainable feature is extensive rainwater harvesting for irrigation, toilet cisterns and pool top-up use. And then there's the magnificent views! What do you think of this place?
