Sydney warehouse conversion by MCK Architects

Here we have another stunning warehouse conversion, this time in Sydney, where a young family has converted a 2-storey warehouse into a 3-storey home, while living through the transformation! MCK Architects of Sydney were asked to design the conversion and have retained the existing warehouse vernacular while running a 3-storey high void parallel to the length of the site and incorporated a floating cellar and rooftop vegetable garden. A wonderful contrast of earthy materials such as stone, timber and concrete are set off by fittings and furnishings with a warm, industrial flavour.
