A contemporary apartment, Singapore style

A contemporary apartment, Singapore style

Designer Jonathan Poh was charged with creating a makeover of this 2-bedroom 80’s apartment in Singapore. The owner was formerly a flight attendant and wanted to echo the vibe of hotel suites of the past with a spacious and uncluttered environment to suit a single lifestyle. Most of the walls were demolished, with two bedrooms morphing into one bedroom with large ensuite/wardrobe. The bedroom opens up to the living are via pocketed panels, forming one continuous space and allowing natural light and ventilation to penetrate, while giving a greater sense of openness and space. Continuity of finishes was used to fit the budget and tie the different areas together.

Adoring the wallpaper feature wall in the bedroom!
